Boyd Barrett is the creator, writer, director, and producer of Roswell B.C. Plus, you’ll hear him voice an occasional character.Headshot

Boyd has decades of experience on stage, including productions in high school and college, traveling nationwide during the 1970s as part of the theatre troupe His Players, and hundreds of performances of his one-man shows throughout the Southwest, most notably his Trouble in Lincoln County. Boyd has most recently been seen on stage in Roswell, NM. His last three roles with the Roswell Community Little Theatre were Tevye in  Fiddler on the Roof in 2012, King Henry II in The Lion in Winter in 2015, and Daddy Warbucks in Annie in 2016. He was the Bishop plus one performance as Javert in Way Way Off Broadway’s production of Les Miserables in 2015.  Boyd portrayed King Triton in ENMU-Roswell’s The Little Mermaid in 2016. Boyd is also an active part of Roswell’s film community. The Roswell Sci-Fi Digital Shootout awarded him Best Actor in 2011 for his work in Reset and Best Screenplay in 2013 for Tailed. In 2014, he released Kabod – A Foundational Narrative, a labor of love which can be found at CD Baby, iTunes, and Amazon. Boyd is a real estate appraiser living in Roswell, NM. Bryan Hunley is the creator of Roswell B.C.’s incredible theme music, which provides a wonderful foundation for the story.Bryan

Bryan has performed, composed, recorded, arranged, and produced music for most of his adult life. Not only has he performed as a soloist and as part of a group, but he has also directed ensembles and choirs in both church and secular settings. Collaboration is a wonderful thing, and Bryan has enjoyed producing projects and albums for individuals in various genres. He loves creating and thoroughly enjoys taking a musical idea from inception to finished recording. After moving back to Roswell in 2015, Bryan now serves as the choral director of Roswell High School and has recently been seen on stage in Way Way Off Broadway‘s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Kyle Bullock is the voice behind Rion, the hard-boiled private investigator who comes to Earth on a case that begins two galaxies away.

KyleBefore moving back to his hometown of Roswell in 2014, Kyle performed in Lubbock, TX, for several years in shows such as The Music ManJoseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. His first role after returning to Roswell was Thenardier in Way Way Off Broadway’s production of Les Miserables. He most recently portrayed Bert in Mary Poppins. He is also an accomplished author, including his novel, The Coward, and his family tribute play, Those Unforgettable Black Rims. He and his wife, Devon, are heavily involved with the new theatre company, Way Way Off Broadway. Kyle’s golden voice made it very easy to cast him in this central role.

Devon Bullock portrays Neila, the beautiful but mysterious client whose presence starts the story in motion.

Devon has been performing all her life, from shows such as The Music Man to Hello, Dolly.Devon She is an accomplished singer and music director, having performed across the U.S. and Europe with the Lubbock Christian University Choir and the Christian a cappella group, Best Friends. She moved to Roswell with her husband, Kyle, in 2014 and immediately found her niche as the music director and in the role of Fantine in Way Way Off Broadway‘s production of Les Miserables. In the summer of 2016, she took on the role of Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins. She was most recently seen on stage in Those Unforgettable Black Rims. She currently teaches voice and piano for all ages at Bullock’s Studios. It was common knowledge that she could sing, but her audition for the part of Neila had just the right tone to win her this leading role.

Lynetta Zuber provides the character behind Etty, Rion’s ditzy secretary who has to hold down the office while her boss is away.

NettaLynetta has been in so many stage productions during her young life that it almost seems like she was born in the theatre. She has either directed, performed in, or assisted backstage in a good portion of the shows produced at the Roswell Community Little Theatre during the past decade. She directed The PrisonerNoises Off!, and The Lion in Winter. Her most recent stage roles include Doris in Same Time Next Year and Lily Belle Savage in The Curious Savage. Lynetta most recently took on the role of Miss Hannigan in Annie. She has also become involved in the Roswell film scene on screen in the short film Angels Over Roswell and in the web series Tailed as well as directing the short film Singularita. Lynetta is also the director of the Roswell Kids in Arts Program. And, oh yes, she also found time in 2015 to have a baby girl with her husband, Daniel. Lynetta’s grasp of character made her the perfect fit for this hilarious and central role.

Tony Souza voices Tolip, the finest spaceship engineer and pilot in five galaxies and Rion’s crime-fighting partner.Tony

Tony has been involved in theatre since middle school and has loved it ever since. As an adult, Tony has performed in several musicals including Guys and Dolls (Sky Masterson) and Beauty and the Beast (Gaston), as well as the non-musical drama Private Eyes (Matthew). In addition to performing, he enjoys working behind the scenes on set design and technical theatre production. He and his wife, Summer, are founding members of Way Way Off-Broadway Theatre Company in Roswell, where Tony is the Managing Director and also serves as a member of the Board of Directors. Tony has been most recently scene on stage as Javert and Pharaoh in WWOB’s productions of Les Miserables and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He is taking on the role of Dr. Frederick Frankenstein in Young Frankenstein. Away from the theatre and performing, he is a Firefighter/Paramedic for the Roswell Fire Department and also is full-time faculty at ENMU-Roswell. Tony lives in Roswell with his wife and two children. Tolip quickly becomes a fully-formed character through Tony’s accent and timing.

Jill Bailey provides a different side of the story’s lead character beginning in Episode 4 as she voices the Feminine Rion.

JillJill was born in Texas but raised in the mountains of New Mexico. She trained in acting at New Mexico State University, where she gained her BA in Theatre Arts. She then travelled throughout South America, Europe, and Africa, including a year spent in Spain learning Spanish, and then moved to England for eight years where she appeared on stage, screen, and radio throughout the UK. She relocated to Austin, TX, in 2013.  Jill has appeared in various commercials and independent films and can currently be seen in the Portal Web Series. Jill’s amazing vocal gift was the ideal choice to bring out the feminine side of Rion. Learn more at jillbaileyactress.com.

Summer Souza voices the feminine side of her husband Tony’s character as she matches his unique character and accent.

Summer has performed since an early age, and mostly enjoys performing in live-theatre productions.  Summer is a founding Summermember of Way Way Off-Broadway Theatre Company, and is the company’s current Board President and Artistic Director.  Summer has most recently been seen on stage in WWOB’s productions of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat as the Narrator,  Les Miserables as Fantine, and Young Frankenstein as Inga.  She also plays a featured role in the web-series Tailed and has been seen in several short films.  Summer won Best Actress at the 2014 Roswell Sci-Fi Film Shootout for her performance in the short film, We The People.  Summer lives in Roswell, NM with her husband and their two children.

Robin Haynes is Neila’s hapless little brother, Orb, who has gone missing, causing his sister to hire Rion to track him across two galaxies.Robin

Robin has a long history as a film actor and acting instructor. Moving to Roswell in 2013, he quickly became active in the local film community as he was cast in the web series Tailed as well as several short films. He was recently seen on the Roswell Community Little Theatre stage as Geoffrey in The Lion in Winter and in the two-man comedy romp, The Mystery of Irma Vep. His was recently in a production of Those Unforgettable Black Rims. He and his wife, Jessica, have two children. Robin is one of the most thoughtful and prepared actors around, bringing a depth to the not-so-deep Orb.

Will Cass portrays Leber, the father of Neila and Orb, who has discovered secrets about the force governing his planet and has to pay the price for his research.

WillWill is  a veteran performer on many Roswell stages. He has most recently been seen on the ENMU-Roswell stage in Tarzan the Musical, in the Roswell Community Little Theatre‘s production of Always, Patsy Cline, and as the Bishop in Way Way Off Broadway‘s Les Miserables. He portrayed Grimsby in The Little Mermaid. He can be seen in the short films The Visit  and Angels Over RoswellWill brings a unique twist to every character he portrays, and Leber is no exception.

Jeorganna has devoted many hours to theatre during the past few years, serving behind the scenes as well as performing on the Roswell Community Little Theatre stage in Fiddler on the Roof and The Curious Savage, at ENMU-Roswell in Nutcracker the Musical, and for Way Way Off Broadway‘s Les Miserables, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Seussical, and Mary Poppins. Jeorganna takes her interest in the theatre very seriously. She and her husband, Tony, have become staples of the Roswell theatre community. Timbus has found a strong voice through Jeorganna’s interpretation.

Curtis Michaels is Redir, the sole passenger of a spaceship in distress who also has a tie to Neila’s case.

CurtisCurtis Michaels was born in Roswell. He has been acting, directing, and crewing plays since 1989. His most recent work at the Roswell Community Little Theatre includes directing Same Time Next Year and portraying Lloyd Dallas in Noises Off! Curtis spends most of his days writing now, either for the local newspaper or for his own edification. He figures after another twenty-six years he’ll pick up a new bad habit. But until then he’ll enjoy writing, and doing voice work.

Chuck Ousley is one of Roswell B.C.‘s multi-character voices, beginning with the bartender in Episode 3.Chuck

Chuck is a 4-year veteran of the US Army. He had not performed on stage since 1996 until being cast in Way Way Off Broadway‘s Les Miserables and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.  Chuck has been highly involved in the Roswell film community and is known as the hardest-working crew member you will ever meet. His true passion is creating stories and writing screenplays, and he has some great ideas already under construction.

Gina Montague Amos is also heard portraying multiple roles throughout the story, beginning with the girl at the bar in Episode 3.

GinaGina has been performing regularly at the Roswell Community Little Theatre for several years. Her first performance was in the musical Small Talk as the sassy waitress, Becky. She has since portrayed Vicki/Brooke in Noises Off!, Elaine in Arsenic and Old Lace, Glenda the Good Witch in The Wizard of Oz, and most recently Grace in Annie. She has also been performing with the Enchanters, a ladies accapella chorus, for the last 10 years. ______________________________________________________________________________________

Terry Todd brings his big voice to several characters, beginning with the big guy at the bar in Episode 3.Terry

Terry has been involved in theatre since the 6th grade. When he first moved to Roswell, he became involved with the Roswell Community Little Theatre, where he was in several productions and met his wife, Sherri. He let acting go for a while in order to attend chiropractic school. Terry now helps lots of people in his local practice and has begun to take the time to perform again. He recently played a myriad of roles in Way Way Off Broadway‘s Les Miserables and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Zack Anderson is a man of thousand voices, and he uses a bunch of them to help tell this story, beginning with the fuel attendant in Episode 5.

ZackZack started acting at 8 years old and has a tremendous gift of vocal manipulation. After being away from the stage for ten years, he has been seen recently in three Roswell Community Little Theatre roles: Mortimer Brewster in Arsenic and Old Lace, King Philip in The Lion in Winter, and the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz. You can see Zack on his youtube channel, ZGAComedy.

Alethea Hartwell joins our stable of voice talent with her hilarious and memorable portrayal of the diner lady in Episode 5.

Alethea is a homemaker. She and her husband Josh have two kids. Most of her time is spent homeschooling. However, she tries to find time for graphic design work, reading and general crafting. She has worked on productions too numerous to count at the Roswell Community Little Theatre including The Murder Room, Spoon River Anthology, Wait Until Dark, and The Prisoner. She most recently directed The Beams Are Creaking and portrayed Aunt Abby in Arsenic and Old Lace and the Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz. She also co-teaches the KAPS Theatre class and has learned “a ton” from the kids. Alethea enjoys being a part of the theatre. She says it gives her a “creative outlet like nothing else”.

Samantha Thorsted voices the eleven cycle-old Wise One in Episode 6.

SamanthaSamantha is already an award-winning actress for her role in the short film Elsie. She has been in numerous stage productions in Roswell, including Fiddler on the Roof, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and The Wizard of Oz. She most recently took on the enormous role of Annie in Annie.

Scott Phillips gives life to the role of the mafia boss beginning in Episode 7.

Scott is a co-founder, co-writer, co-director, and voice actor of Audioblivious Productions, which was started with the goal of bringing original content audio dramas to listeners. He is new to writing and performing but has enjoyed the process c48db0_6d7f454de6ff4e43b17306c44d07b065~mv2_d_1536_2048_s_2thus far and hopes to make a career out of it. Scott grew up reading comic books and is a fan of science fiction and comedy, so it is a thrill for him to have a platform to present his own stories in those genres, as well as others.

Austin Beach brings a comic feel to the mafia hitman, Grud, beginning in Episode 7.

Dayn Leonardson voices Frank Baker as well as the background voices for the rest of the Jesse Evans gang beginning in Episode 8

Dayn is a musician based out of Madison, WI. He has recorded several different genres of music in his home studio, ranging from folk music to heavy metal. He recently discovered that his true passion lies in the production of audio drama. He produced The Fall, an epic angels versus demons tale, and is currently working on several audio drama projects.

Drew Profit comes on board as Jimmy Dolan, one of the men behind the Big Store in Lincoln, beginning in Episode 9.

Drew is relatively new to the world of audio drama, but he has dove in headfirst along with his cohorts at Audioblivious Productions. However the world of performance has always been a passion of his for his entire life. Drew has taken part in memultiple theatrical performances throughout the years and is heavily involved in the international LARP community for the World of Darkness. He also spent 10 years in Independent Professional Wrestling in the Southern Ohio area. In fact that is where the last name “Profit” comes from. Drew was also the co-writer for two role-playing game supplement/adventures published by White Wolf and Pinnacle respectively.
